I really want a marlin model 60ss are they pretty reliable and accurate? What would I expect to pay for one (they have them at my local walmart, but personally I was too busy admiring the gun through the shiny glass case to see the price)
Ahh well now when i post this in general gun discussion, a moderator tells me to post it here! I don't know if i like this forum or not so far

the moderators DO run a really tight ship here, but they are determined to make absolutely sure this forum remains civil and adult.Well it didn't really offend me, and yes it was a very polite request, but all i'm saying is that this forum is alot different than the other gun forums, guess i'll just have to get used to it.
[Cons]: Bad accuracy, feed ramp gets dirty (a little quick), and it doesn't work well with cheap ammo (only remington golden bullets).
I have no problems with plastic tg's. I only have a problem with this particular tg. I've been shooting Marlin 60s for almost 45 years. I think I know what they have used in that model for the trigger guard.
And where are you finding metal trigger guards for 60's for $20? You can buy plastic trigger guards for that much but not metal. And what does Mossberg have to do with this? About the only rifles around that still use metal tg's are CZ's.
