With the rising popularity of 5.7 a question arises where to shoot it. I suppose a 2-gun match may be amenable if they allow stuff like Nagant and 7.65 French Long. But what if I don't want to travel to Arizona? As I understand, USPSA and IDPA do not have a class set up for it. Not even in Steel Challenge. So, is there something I'm missing?

P.S. I'm even okay with a match with falling steel targets. I'll just need to hit the plate 3 times real quick :)

Unless the targets were further back why bother. Then you end up turning it into a bullseye match. Those small jacketed bullets going that fast aren't a great thing to be shooting at steel very close either. The 5.7 is awkward to reload quickly and one doesnt need to do it often with 30 round mags. Expensive to shoot and pain to reload for. I can't imagine enough would participate.

I like my 5.7 btw. Not bashing the gun.

The division would be smaller than revolver divisions these days.
