Well, I already added my opinion, but I just have to address some things that were brought up:
Honestly, I don't see the beef most people have with the Romanian Tokarev's addon safety. When holstered in a proper-coverage 1911-style holster, I don't have any real concerns about carrying it hammer fully back, safety engaged. The safety is not going to get accidentally disengaged inside the holster (I verified this; it's impossible in a proper holster), the trigger travel is long enough that I'm not at all concerned about it being bump-discharged, and the trigger spring is plenty strong. It's every bit as safe the pre-Series 80 1911. The safety is also intuitively located for right-hand use. You can have your hand fully on the grip in firing position and remove the safety without a thought. All the concerns and complaints I've seen about the trigger block safety are, so far as I've seen, pure nitpicking. As long as you treat it like a 1911, it will behave like a 1911.
