Mauser safetys can take a bit of fitting, the m 70 can be a pain, even the high end ones aren't turn key. I like the 2 position m70 I have on my 09 Argentine, think there's still a guy selling the kit. But need to spot the shroud, I prefer the 3 position m70 or a original safety.

I have another query. I’ve encountered several instances of a “Mexican 95” being referred to. I looked as closely as I could at one via YouTube and it appears that is is the same as the one I have. Anyone know if it is the same? The timney compatibility chart in above link referenced the Mexican 95. I’m wondering if it would work….

That's the one I just ordered, supposed to fit but I haven't gotten it yet.
 
Doh!!! I forgot to check back in....

Yeah it bolted up and worked fine after a little material removal at the front of the sear slot in the receiver. I didn't need to modify the trigger guard any.

I did also have to relieve wood from the back of the stock inlet for the trigger to drop in properly but it really wasn't that difficult.

Nice! And no problem! I just happened to think of it today.
