Went to the show in Joplin MO today. Busy but not anything like a couple months ago in DFW. Lots of lookers and not much money changing hands.
AR-15's as low as $875, eight of them on the table, still there 2 hours later. .22 lr $50-75 for a bulk pack and not many of those. Primers $47-50/1000. No powder to be found.
Ammo and handguns seemed to be where it was at. Quite a few seasoned ladies buying handguns.

At the show in Belleville, IL today, quite a few dealers had reloading supplies, although variety of powders were less than I hoped. Brass in certain handgun calibers were in short supply as were the bullets.
What got me when I saw .22LR ranging from $47 to $75 per "brick". The $75 was a German import in a sealed round can of 500 rds.

Theres no shortage on guns now but ammo. What a change indeed. I rather have one gun and plenty of ammo. WIthout ammo, guns are becoming like clubs.

I went to a gunshow @ The Meadow Event Center in Doswell VA.It didn't look like many people were buying. There were not as many people there as there were at the Richmond shows. This is a nice well lit, clean, new building.Prices on guns have dropped, but ammo is still way overpriced.Ammo appeared to be selling better than gunz.

Gun show in ABQ this weekend, crowd about at pre-panic levels. ARs around 1k-1200, magazine vendors prices up about $10 each(and less of a crowd at their tables too). little bit of ammo available, but nowhere near normal. New pistols at about normal prices, and the same old selection of way-overpriced hunting rifles and shotguns that never sell. Oddly, good Garands could be found in the 800-900 range, where as before the panic that would only get you a wall hanger that would blow up in your face if you even thought about firing it. Also Nagant revolvers going for $450 and up. I did notice more women actively looking at guns instead of just dragging the kids around.

I'm going to one in a couple of weeks, I'll see what I can find.

For the most part ammo is still the hardest to get.

I was also at the Albuquerque show this past weekend. Not as many people in attendance as usual, and most all of them were walking around empty handed. I sold 8 550 round bulk packs of .22LR for $60 each right away because I was priced about $20 below everyone else. Not many guns sold that I could see. Lot of reloaded ammo sold at the show, but there was quite a bit of new factory ammo there at high prices. Some powder but not a lot. Tygarys is right, mags were selling very slow, pistols were slow but moving, women were buying about as much as men. I was surprised at the number of CMP Garands there. Sunday attendance was very slow and not a lot sold until late afternoon.
