As pmeisel has already said,I have too many friends, family and neighbors to name that have given their lives to protect our freedoms, not the least of which is the Second Amendment. Without their sacrifices we would not be on this forum today. A reverent salute from a grateful heart to them all.

I couldn't BEGIN to express my overwhelming support and sorrow for the men and women (and their families) who've sacrificed SO much for our country! THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!

I pay tribute to friends, family and all others that gave their lives while serving our country in uniform.

Thank you for your service. For those who gave the ultimate sacrifice, I thank you[/U and your families

Semper Fi Dad, sorry I couldn't make it to Arlington this year.

I think about them every day I am priveleged to be alive.

There was a time or two I was certain I was not going to make it.

Special salute to WO David Greeson, who died getting a few of us out of a lot of trouble one fine morning.

To the Veterans

As we celebrate Memorial day and the freedoms we share, not the least of which is the Right to keep and bear arms, let's take a minute to consider the cost.
To all of you who have served honorably in our armed forces THANK YOU! Your sacrifices are not forgotten. I was never in the military, but am humbled by the depth of devotion displayed on behalf of our nation by those who serve under the stars and stripes.
We especially remember those who never returned, the ones who daily bear the physical and mental scars of war,and those who today are serving far from home.
Thank you .You make us all proud.

From an old vet...

We all owe a debt of gratitude to those who've served to maintain our nation's freedom. To all those who served in combat, you have my deepest respect.

When I got back to the states in 1969,I got welcomed with f... you and lots of spit. The Officer in charge would not let us retaliate. Great welcome back then!! Now their our leaders.
