And Merry Christmas to you!
Titan, please accept the only Christmas gift I can give you. I'll be praying for your safety and safe return and your familys' difficulty at not having you home for the Holidays.

Lo, the days are hastening on, by prophet and bard foretold, when with the ever circling years comes ound the age of gold. When peace shall over all the earth its ancient splendor fling. And all the world give back the song which now the angels sing.
(last verse to "It Came Upon A Midnight Clear)

Merry Christmas to all of our brothers and sisters (and their families) who have given and sacrificed so greatly for our freedom. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!

My son leaves for Afghanistan in a couple weeks for his first deployment.

Merry Christmas, Titan - you've probably had chow in the DFAC already due to the time-difference, but I hope the snow-crab, lobster, prawns and turkey combination don't upset your stomach ;)

Be safe.

Merry Christmas! I was away from home (in basic training) in 1974 so I know the feeling. Thanks for your service.

Merry Christmas Titan6, and to my nephew, and to all others away from family and friends serving our country. Thanks to all for your sacrifice.

Merry Christmas, Titan. May God bless you, your family, and all of your fellow soldiers. Your honorable sacrifice to the freedom that the rest of us enjoy hasn't been forgotten. My prayer to all of you for a safe and speedy return.

Titan, merry Christmas and God bless...Stay safe; there is also a cold one or three waiting for you here in southern Indiana if you are ever here(you too possum).

Oh, and for the comment on those who don't support the war...It doesn't matter who does and does not support the war, we all support our troops and for those who don't:

Don't let the door hit ya where the good lord split ya.;)

Merry Christmas Titan, stay safe. I have a nephew with you and you are both in my wishes for a safe and quick return home.

Merry Christmas and a happy and Safe New Year to you!

I 100% support the conflict for democracy and freedom and to prove it I dropped my civilian legal practice and joined the Army. I'm now a Judge Advocate (with my airborne jumpwings and air assault badge) and will be joining you in the sandbox in the spring. I only wish we could at least bring our own sidearms! :)

As an aside, I find it odd that those who oppose the conflict for humanitarian reasons are content sitting back and doing nothing while people suffer at the hands of dangerous tyrants. While war is not the best answer, sometimes it's the only answer after years of failed diplomacy. I am of the cloth that says to take action, not words.

Stay safe and keep doing what you're doing! History will prove this is the right course of action.

Hi Titan,

As I join my loved ones later today, I will be thinking and praying for you and yours. And your brothers and sisters in arms.

They actually make pretty good beer here in San Francisco. Of course you'd have to meet me at Tommy's Joynt to get a free one or three...

Titan 6 - Merry Christmas for all of you guys and gals in a treacherous land. One thing you might consider; all of you are "eyeball to eyeball" with the harsh reality of what the Middle East has to offer, should we drop our guard. When all of you come home (soon, I hope), you will be bringing a wisdom that can be used here, to bring some better understanding to our current policies. Be safe!

Merry Christmas and best wishes to you Titan. I have the utmost respect for people who are willing to fight and possibly die for our country. The reason we are all here typing on our computers, or enjoying America's awesome freedom, is because of you guys and gals. God bless and thank you for your're service!
