Barrel support. An Ilion-trained gunsmith such as riomouse911 or Virginian might be able fix that for you. Another resource would be JD at AI&P Tactical, another Ilion-trained Armorer who specializes in LE and tactical Remingtons.
Pull your barrel and post a pic of the open end of the receiver. it could be the forearm support, but it looks a little beefy to be that. A pic would solve the question.
https://aiptactical.com/ Careful when you open that link. He's an ugly som'a bee, but he knows his stuff.
Interestingly there is something broken off here but it doesn't match the piece that fell out the gun.
I got this gun when Obama was elected and everyone was panic buying .22 ammo for the first time. I traded two $16 boxes of ammo for this shotgun. It is really beat up but it became my go-to since it doesn't matter if it gets knocked around.
[edit] After looking at some pictures of the forend support, this is apparently part of what broke off, the other half is missing.. Thanks!
Just a quick heads up. The part you show in your first picture is only half of the metal that has broken from the body of the part in your second photo. Make sure the rest of it is not jammed into a place is doesn't belong.
