I thought this item was for installing both front and rear sights, as that is what I need it for, installing sights on Novak style sights. But it appears that it is only for use on rear sights. Can this be used on front Novak style sights, or do I need to get another tool?

IIRC, that model will not work on the front site.

You could call MGW Precision Inc. They may have an add-on front site tool for that pusher.
