Michigan OC Spray Laws

I am not very familiar these types of spray, and worse I hear there are some complicated spray laws in Michigan. Something about the bottle has to be 32 grams or less and it has to be 2% what exactly has to be 2%? Are sprays that are actually semi-effective like Sabre Red and Fox Labs illegal in Michigan for carry?

I believe they are, the can has 2% OC and the rest is made up of other chemicals, i know for a FACT Fox Labs OC, burn like nothing else. And i was more then incapacated, for a few hours after being sprayed.

But i have seen 2 people out of about 400 that were sprayed that were not effected.

Yeah, I think it is 5%. Anyway, if you go to an online store, a few of them, you are bound to find Michigan compliant OC, it will be labeled as such.

AS to your question re: effectiveness, it would be effective. A lot of the so called "dog" pepper spray is a lesser concentrate and I tested it (sort of) on myself and it certainly was a sensation I wouldn't want to repeat. I think the lower concentration just allows the OC to clear a little quicker when used on a perp. Instead of 20 min it is 10 min or something like that.
