I am looking to pick up a micro compact 9mm along the lines of a Springfield Hellcat. I shot one recently and it fit the bill I am looking for. The eyes aren't getting younger so an optic is what I have decided on after looking at all the options. I carry my Kahr PM9 or Springfield XDS mostly with a revolver on occasion now and have for at least a decade. For the size I like the round count the Hellcat has and is optics ready part. I haven't found anything comparable to it for now. Or heard of anything coming out in the future, but I am sure there will be to counter the Hellcat. Was just wondering if there was something comparable that I was over looking.

The P365XL comes optic-ready, or you can get a 365 grip module for $50 to have something almost exactly the size of the Hellcat (which was released in response to the P365, which came out a year earlier.)

The Glock 43X MOS is pretty comparable size-wise and comes optics ready. The gun is a 10+1 (stock) so it doesn’t hold 12 like the SA does, but some aftermarket Mags do run 15 rounds if that’s what you’re looking for.

Stay safe.

I wouldn’t recommend it for personal reasons (they stole kel tec designs) but sccy has a few options too. I think they even have one with a rmr for around $300-$350.

I’d personally go with the Ruger Max-9 once they’ve been on the market a while and are priced in the $350-$400 range, or the Glock 43xmos with the aftermarket 15 rounders.
