I have an old Midway 1288 tumbler that finally decided to lose a motor this past weekend. It's no big deal just to go out and buy a new one but I'd like to keep this old girl going. I did a search and can't find anybody with replacement motors. I emailed Midway and no reply. Any help out there? Thanks.

Check A/C supply houses for replacement bath exhaust fans or refrigerator evap fans. You can probably find one to work.

You need one that will bolt up obviously, but many are the same. You also need one with the same or higher amp rating, and lastly it needs the same shaft size.

Thanks Walkalong. I've checked the WW Grainger catalog and could probably find one there. I was just hoping a bit for a quick, no hassle fix. It's served me well and I guess I'll just have to put my friend to rest and buy a new one.

Are you sure it really died and a wire didn't just break/come loose? I had that happen with my Frankfort bowl and it was a broken wire.

Yup Woodsoup. It's dead. It started slowing down and sounded like a wore out Volkswagon. I didn't check the amperage because it was obvious. It's been kept clean and lubed. It's just....:( it's time.
