1984-1992 active duty, reserves 'till 2000.

Might be going back before the end of the year, there seems to be a shortage of 8404 Corpsmen. Maybe this time I'll make it to retirement.

Well its about time for roll call; Army 82nd (you know the rest ) First to fight,last to fall.1984 right out of high school graduation day got my orders,no time to party,Fort braggs ,fort benning ga. fort wood mo,Fort Jackson,Overseas:Germandy,stugart,Panamal(Iceland) Did not make it to russia, ended up in the middle east.Brother to a U.S Marine(lebanon bombing)
Son to a CMA,WW2 VET 13 Battle stars 15major battles,Served under the greatest gen ever(Gen.George S.Patton) which is my last name also his grandfather ww1 vet,also family members fought in the civil war for the north.
As for me i ended up with 16 years military,now working in Law-enforcement.
 
USN Oct 79-Jan 00 Fire Control CIWS and Mk86 Mod10. Made it to FC1 before they tried to medical me for hearing loss. Hung on and made my 20 but no anchors for my collar. All three ships I served on are now reefs. Boot in San Diego,BEE there too, FT "A" phase 1 Great Lakes,USS Yosemite AD-19 (80-82), FT "A" phase 2 and CIWS Great Lakes, USS Lewis B.
