Any good or bad experiences with Millett red dots?

I'm looking at the Millett M-Force specifically but input for any model is welcome!

Ive used an older one quite a bit, dont own it anymore, but thats just because the gun it was on went away. It was a solid and very serviceable dot sight, not very familiar with the new ones tho.

I had one like this http://www.midwayusa.com/product/13...t-1-tube-1x-3-moa-dot-with-weaver-style-rings that went bad after something like 60 shots on a 223. bushnell replaced it with a trs-25 that has been great.

Honestly, I'm not realyl sure what market millet is serving. All their stuff is pretty mediocre, and not really priced as a great value. They don't market much and their prodcut lines overlap with other, better value, offerings by vista outdoor. They seem like oldsmobile in GM's lineup.

by the way, look at all the brands vista outdoor has. they're a monster. http://vistaoutdoor.com/brands/

Thats quite a few brands, greyling22.

The only other opinion i've had is someone telling me generally they're a Simmons scope with nicer packaging.

I've found zero reviews on this thing (besides a couple general videos on youtube) and looks like not too many people on THR have tried them. I'm starting to think I shouldn't have ordered it! But, its on the way... Midway has it for what seems like a good price.

Well if it craps out, Bushnell (who answers millets customer service) stood behind their product.

But I bet its going to be fine.

I have two of them mounted on .22 pistols. For the price, they work great.

The last one I bought (on sale at Midway, $30) didn't have a dot. I returned it to Bushnell and they replaced it.

Laphroaig

PS mine aren't the M-force just a simple red dot sight with rings.

Bought my first one a few years back, he glass was misaligned and showed a double image with both eyes open. Hey sent another that worked a couple years, then it sporadically shut off.

I took the battery compartment apart and realized all those spring washers and little screws would work loose, making it lose contact. It still shuts off on occasion, very annoying.
