You won't get any definitive answers here since nobody here agrees on the Mini 14. I have found them suitably accurate for what they are but they aren't match grade shooters.
Using Sierra bullets and working with the load, i am getting about 2" at a 100 yards with open sights. It took some time finding the right load.I was using the 55 grain Pro Hunter. Byron
A few years back I bought a mini-14 ranch rifle in stainless. With a scope Nikon buckmaster 3-9x40 it shot minute of barn door. I could get around 3 to 4" group at 100 yards with good ammo. If I went premium ammo I could pull it in to 2 1/2 to 3 1/2". I hated the setup I took the scope off and mounted a sightron red-dot. I continued to hate it and sold it off for a loss.
