Hey, ev'rybody.
I've a Mini-14 ranch in the black-oxide finish that's had ~500 rounds through it (+-150) of WWB and UMC factory ammo through it. It's an alright rifle, but I'd like to replace it. In a previous thread when I brought up the issue about replacing the Mini, someone suggested an SKS, and I think that's just dandy. I'd like to get two SKS-es (Yugo, preferably), because one reason I don't get to ze rifle range very often is that my dad doesn't like taking me, because he gets bored (and he doesn't want to shoot the mini, because he thinks it makes me bored)...
Which, in an infuriatingly longwinded fashion, brings me to my point:
What would my Mini be worth, in you guys' opinion(s), and, comparatively, what would a pair of Yugo SKS-es run me/my dad.
Additionally, if there's a Highroader here in the vicinity of DFW with two SKS-es he/she would be willing to sell, and/or knew a gunshop around here that has a couple, I'd be all sorts of appreciative. I, THR's local 17-year-old-who-can't-buy-guns-legally, am inquiring because my dad told me to investigate the issue and report back (just so no mods close this for being about illegal activity, or anything.)
