I have a chinese sks, bought in the late 80s when they became available. It was still new & had grease all over it. It seems to be a pretty nice gun, with good workmanship - at least for what it is for. Back then I think it was $139. The first time I shot it, a 100 yds, out of the three holes in the target, 2 were connected and the other was about 1.5" above them. Probably luck. The guy I was shooting with was impressed, and he went out and bought one too.

I'm buying an XD-45 in a couple weeks, so I'll be broke for a while after that. Next I'll check out the ar-15 clones at the monthly gun shows here.
