Can you imagine the strength of the NRA if all recent gun sales had included an optional NRA membership (included in the price FOR FREE, but only activated if the buyer o.k.'d it)? As much as the dealers were charging, they could have tacked on the regular yearly dues, and signed everyone up that was not an NRA member, and donated the same funds for any NRA member as a booster contribution. The buyers would have barely noticed the increase, and the NRA might have doubled.

I'd be ok with it, but for some reason, I think it'd generally be met with the same enthusiasm that Trijicon's bible verses were met with...

Better yet would be a voter registration and a list of everyone who voted for or introduced attacks on the 2nd Amendment.

Wouldn't cost anything but the paper.

Signing them up for the NRA would be a guarantee for a year; sign some people up to vote, and they still wouldn't..........

I'd rather shopowners ask for a copy of a letter/email sent to a rep. Pro-gun, anti-gun, whatever. Midway has a God-only-knows-how-long backlog of orders; if only that fear/anger/desperation could have been harnessed for a useful purposed.

NRA and money mean nothing if Americans don't vote for pro 2nd amendment candadites. Party, membership, money, etc are irrelevent.
In the end it votes that count and nothing else.
