t33j -Man, those are some ugly bullets, truly cringe-worthy!

I do not know how they made it out of here but obviously they did. We were sizing .45's on a sizer that had a lube pump go bad on us during the run (O-ring failure) and the bad ones were SUPPOSED to get sent back to Allah in the melting pot, but evidently they got missed and were boxed up and shipped.

Thank you for the photos - I printed them and showed them to the crew this morning and explained a thing or two about following shop procedures.

If you will PM me your name, we will happily replace your order, with apologies. We do make mistakes and when we do, we will correct them on the spot.

Thank you.

Got mine the other day! Quick, neat and safe! :)

Totally forgot about the discount code -- DOH! :banghead:

Well, I'll remember for the next order....

I got 2K of .38 special Match, 158gr LSWC. They load up easy, haven't had a chance to shoot them yet, should be warm enough this weekend!

I did wonder what velocity I should be loading for with these bullets? Since they're "Match" type, I wonder what the target velocity is that I should aim for?

Thanks MB for some awesome bullets!

While every order I've received from MBC was great, knowing how this company backs their product is what makes me a life long customer for my lead shooting needs.

Another praise for Brad & JoAnn.

I ordered Wed morning (1/26) & they were at my door Fri (1/28)

I wish a lot more companies had that much attention to detail.

I called them Friday, Jan 28 and placed another order with them. Hope to be here in another couple days. Not run out, but just stocking up a little. trikerider

I placed an order Saturday and received an order confirmation email at 1:41pm.

Two minutes - TWO MINUTES, PEOPLE! - later, at 1:43pm, I received an email that my order is complete and has shipped.

I'm a little bummed they weren't on my doorstep when I got home from church. I mean, just because the USPS doesn't run on Sunday, what kind of excuse is that? :D

Seriously, all things being equal, I figure Tuesday delivery; Wednesday at the latest. I'll alert my mail lady.

EDIT: UPDATE... It's Monday, 3pm, and a knock at the door --- my mail lady was walking away from my door. I hollered, "Can I help you?" She turned, pointed at my feet, and there it was --- the box from MBC almost exactly 49 hours after ordering.

I wasn't having a superb day shooting but good enough I think. Of course I'm not completely sure all of these are entirely representative of the hardware and not myself. Check out the 22 target for a sort of benchmark I guess. I shot at night so I had to shoot indoors. Range is limited to 15 yards but the targets are reduced. (15yd => 25yd ratio)

I am just starting to reload for the .30 carbine. So, I am concerned as to whether these bullets will lead the barrel and/or gas port. They certainly cost less than jacketed bullets. However, the standard loads seem a bit hot for lead bullets. Am I wrong?

Well I ordered a few sample packs (230 gr RN, 230 gr TC) and 1k 200gr LSWC. I loaded a bunch of them today (HP38 @ 4.8, 5.0 & 5.2gr). Gotta say, I love these rounds.

By far the most accurate round for me (thanks BDS for pointing this out in advance) was definitely the 200gr LSWC @ 5.0gr HP-38. I had built 40 rounds at this configuration and basically blew out the center of the target @ 7yds with all 40 within 2 inches of center (free hand and I know I need some work, but for me this was just awesome sauce).

When I received the package, the lube was damn near perfect on every round that I inspected. I only ordered 1000 of the 200gr LSWC, but am building 500 for a range trip this weekend. I'll be ordering at least another 2k or 4k within the next week.

As for shipping, ordered Thursday late night, shipped Friday and arrived at my door on Monday. Now THAT is fast shipping.

I am recommending MBC to anyone that asks.

MidWayUSA about 10 minutes away....

Starline Brass less than an hour away....

Missouri Bullet a bit more than an hour away....

DANG - I LOVE living in Central MO ! ! ! !

:neener:

MBC is great

MBC has been a pleasure to deal with. Good quality, fair prices and fast shipments. Will order from them again.

It's great, ain't it? :)

And don't forget, Sierra Bullets is literally right next door to Starline!

WHOAAAAAAAA there - TOTALLY forgot about them, lol !!!

:what:

Ordered from them the first time Sun, package received in Colorado Wed.

Packaged well, bullets are perfect, price was right!

Can't go wrong!

I shoot MO bullets in 4 calibers and have had great luck with them all. I live just about a half hour from them but I have never been in the shop. My buddy skip always picks 'em up for me, he lives just down the road and drives past my house to go to work! so I get free hand delivery! but he says he gets top notch service when he picks up our lead! so thanks guys! my 45 loves the pinbusters!

Definitely sounds like a fluke to me. The first order I placed was for 1,000 "Softball" .452" round nose bullets. Out of those two boxes, I 2 instances where the lube groove was not full all the way around. I didn't mind at all cause I like to save a few specimens of each bullet style I load for and I still needed something for my "gallery" :D

Because of this site, I just took the plunge and ordered 1500 .45 RNFP for IDPA. Can't wait to get them.

Been useing them for years in 45 acp only problem i had while back was with the lube they was useing. but the last 2000 rds, i receive was ok still shooting missouri lead today. :D

The 500 crusher bullets are the most accurate bullet I have ever shot out of my gun. Great bullet for the 500 from MBC. Very pleased with the accuracy.

Has anyone had problems with the lazy post office refusing to deliver a shipment?

We just got a voice mail that we have a package at the PO that's "too heavy for the carrier". I have to make a trip down there during their open hours (local PO has weird hours).

I'm a little upset that they won't do what they are paid to do. This isn't a "pick up at the freight depot" shipment.

On one hand, they shouldn't offer a service if they aren't going to handle it. OTOH, I guess it's a good service for those of you with a competent post office.

Ken

Over the last several weeks I've received two packages from MBC and 3 other large/heavy packages from others for brass. I've not had any issues.

You may want to talk to the Post Master of the station. You paid for delivery to your home, not delivery to the PO for YOU to go pick up.

I have been seriously contemplating ordering some 9mm and 44 mag bullets from them.

This thread pushed me over the edge and I just placed my first order.

I REALLY hope I have good luck with the 9mm. I tried a 100 pack from another company out of one of my 9's with bad luck. These are harder so maybe they will work out at least in one of my 9's.
