I have MMCs on three Glocks and they did a beautiful milling job on my BHP. I aquired all these a little over two years ago. I had a couple quality issues with the sights such as the tritium vial falling out of the BHP front sight and improper assembly of a Glock rear but they did get resolved to my satisfaction.

Has anyone dealt with them lately? Was the quality alright?

Not personally, but a buddy bought a set at the beginning of the year & they seem to be doing well...he's happy w/ them ;)

I had a set installed on a 1911 in January. A little dim, but acceptable. They are red tritium, which doesn't seem quite as bright as the green. Quality is very good. The ears in the rear sight picture took some getting used to, but now they are my favorite sights. In fact, I'm saving up for a set for my BHP.

I sent them a BHP for installation of a set of adjustable night sights. They screwed up and installed a set of 1911 sights instead. This resulted in the hammer striking the back of the sight.
I called them numerous times to find out what was taking so long with my sights and got various answers. Finally the women told me that I needed to talk to Mr. X about my sights. It took me several tries to get Mr. X who finally fessed up that they ruined my slide.
He asked me what he could do to make things right and I told him that I would be happy if they replaced the slide and installed the correct sight. Which they did, however, don't think that they refunded any of my money.

I am left with mixed feelings about the company. I realize that anyone can make a mistake, although you would think that someone working for a company that makes sights would know what sight was correct for that firearm. I also can't help but think that they were trying to avoid telling me about their screw up or possibly avoid me all together. They did make it right, although I am left with a sour taste in my mouth over the whole thing. On the other hand, I have been thinking about sending them another gun to have sights installed just because I dont' know where else to send it. I would like to have a set of adjustable sights installed on my Ruger P89. I know that MMC will find a sight that will work and install it on pretty much anything you send them. BUT, if I knew someone else that did the same work, I would go there.

I like MMC sights on my P7M8. Tritium vials on mine are 'dim' from day one, and this appears to be case with other people also. I installed it myself, so I don't blame anyone for screwing up my gun. Yea, I would like to buy MMC again, but with plain sights.
While we are talking about tactical adj. sight, you might wanna consider this one. They use much brighter Trijicon.

I've never bought any of their products, but I called them one time about a sight for a Beretta 92. I placed an order for one. After awhile, someone called me back and told me that they don't sell a sight that fits the 92, I would have to have the slide milled.

I was unimpressed at two things.

1. They don't sell an adjustable sight that fits one of the most common 9mm pistols in the world.
2. The sales reps don't know #1.

I've heard bad things about MMC's customer service, but I buy them from good people at Brownells. Long as you don't buy Trinium, they are rugged enough that you don't have to deal with MMC.
