So heres the story:

Removed bolt assembly from gun for cleaning, took off bolt head and guide rail.

Using guide on 7.62x54r.net, tried to use guide rail as wrench to remove firing pin

Guide rail broke, (already ordered new one, no biggie)

Problem is, firing pin is now stuck forward, and wont move

I have a gunsmith who can fix it for me (going to drop off other gun to him soon anyways) but wanna avoid paying extra for him to reassembly and unjam it.

ANy advice?

Your bolt has become un-cocked. Grab bolt body and pull bolt handle up. Will be difficult.

OH MAN!!! I had the same thing happen, but I cant remember exactly how I fixed it!!!!

You have something out of time with the cocking mechanism of the bolt. You need to turn part of the bolt to get it back in. It is foggy in my brain, but I remember the firing pin sticking out clearly. I frittered with it till I got it.

I hope someone has some real help for you :/

Frozen sounds right as the cocking piece moves up freely. Probably will not mess with it myself and leave it to my master gunsmith friend.
