I'm a longtime shooter and gun enthusiast, but I'd never been to a gun show until attending the MN Weapons collector show at the state fairgrounds yesterday. After reading many of the amusing antectdotes about the usual patron & vendor bufoonery I was pleasantly surprised
Lots and lots of nice stuff, very little non gun or weapon related nonsense on display. I had just spent the previous evening at one of the local gaming establishments and was sporting a nice new roll of blood money won at the blackjack tables. I fully expected to come home with something, as I had a few items on my short list - Marlin .357 1894, Smith 19, Smith 29 or Colt officers model match .22. Unfortunately, I couldn't find one in the condition I wanted at I price I was willing to pay so I came home empty handed
Anyone else snag a good deal or have a good story?
