Ok, as we all know (from the daily MO ccw threads) MO will soon have have CCW. I would like to carry obviously. However, most of us also know that things are kind of chaotic because no one really expected the override, hence the questions..
1) I'm in st louis, and i'd like to take a course soon. I've seen at least one person on here offering such a course (john ross IIRC, if you end up here feel free to chime in). I'd like to know if this course is 'approved' for sure, or if anyone knows of any others.
2) With the confusion, its not really clear how quickly permits will make it to the people seeking them. One alternative i've been thinking about is getting a florida permit. Benefits; its good in a bunch of states and probably wont have mass confusion to deal with before october. However, i dont know how long it takes to get a permit from there, or if local courses would be approved for a florida license. I'm also not sure which states will honor MOs permit. If a lot of states honor MOs permit, then the benfits of a FL permit would simply be time and money. Any thoughts?
