Mod 1 price check...

What would you pay for the upper from the EM-4 kit? A lightly used upper, A3 Flattop, comes with bolt carrier, and charging handle. Would $300 be a good buy?

Even though it is Mod 1, do you think it will be reliable? What would be the to much to give for the upper?

Friend has a Model 1 upper with at least 1500-2000 rounds through it, shoots good and is damn accurate. Mounts solid to his Stag lower too.

My Model 1 varmint build on a RR receiver is more reliable with a wider variety of ammo than my old Colt was. It's also more accurate. YMMV
I don't know anyone who sells much cheaper than Model 1 does,so their new prices are a good basis for determining the value of used uppers,parts,etc.

My model 1 does well, everything is theirs except the RRA lower. Their barrels are made by Shaw.

The price is good baring any terrible gouges or broken things.
