Model 1 Sales .22 lr uppers
The Mrs. just asked me what I might want for my birthday. After some discussion, the topic of a good .22lr rifle came up. Yeah, I know. “Get a 10/22. It’s cheaper and blah blah blah…” Niet interested. I also don’t need Compass Lake accuracy (or the price for that matter).
Since I want something fairly accurate, I decided to pass on the conversion kits. I don’t have an accurate .22lr. If I already did, I’d get a kit.
Anyway… it seems that the cheapest player in town is Model 1 Sales. So my questions for those who have Model 1 uppers are:
Are M1’s offerings relatively good and accurate uppers?
Is a 20” or 16” heavy barrel gonna give me anything that the 16” Light Weight barrel won’t?
Are there any ammo No-Gos like with some of the .22lr pistol conversions?
Are you happy you got that instead of a Conversion Kit.
And for everyone: Are there any other upper options in that price range.
Thanks.
