I know nothing about stocks for bench/target rifles. Just what I have been reading lately.
I'm wanting to get a Kelbly stock for this action, but feel foolish in my ignorance.
Any help?

Same action as any other Winchester M70 as far as I know.

edit: could be a magazine difference, I know the 670A has a blind magazine. I don't recall if the M70 has a floorplate but if so that could be a problem using a replacement stock.

Thanks for the reply.
A Laredo I have has a nice (H.S. Precision?) stock and barrel and it is a little bigger caliber than I want to go with for what I'm wanting to do. Or hear...
A 243 or 260 is sure looking good with a 28" barrel, and the blind mag on the 670 is ok - I'm planning on a single shot anyways - nice thing is with a little mod to the mag box it will hold a lot longer than 2.800".
The mag box on this one appears to be of the "one-size-fits-all" full length with a block off plate spot welded at the rear.
Just wanting to make a nice target rifle and not go all in on the price.
