But I believe that this article needs to be read by all.

Obama has, before the elections of November, 2010, and even more so now that the elections are over and Progressive Democrats lost so many seats, used a tactic to pass into law legislation without involving Congress. However, the Constitution of the United States specifically setup Congress for the purposes of legislation. This is a matter of "checks and balances". To allow a president to write and pass laws without the involvement of the Congress is to violate the "checks and balances" established by the forefathers in the Constitution. When that is violated, it violates the entire concept of the United States and everything this country stands for. Further, it is grabbing power not intended to be had by the grabber and I believe it is an impeachable offense, although I cannot provide definitive information on that. What am I speaking of? It is a short story that has appeared now in several places. The first place I saw it was the May (?) or June (?) issue of American Rifleman published by the NRA. Here it is from two sources:

Obama: We're Working on Gun Control 'Under the Radar'
On March 30, the 30th anniversary of the assassination attempt on President Ronald Reagan, Jim Brady, who sustained a debilitating head wound in the attack, and his wife, Sarah, came to Capitol Hill to push for a ban on the controversial "large magazines." Brady, for whom the law requiring background checks on handgun purchasers is named, then met with White House press secretary Jay Carney. During the meeting, President Obama dropped in and, according to Sarah Brady, brought up the issue of gun control, "to fill us in that it was very much on his agenda," she said.
"I just want you to know that we are working on it," Brady recalled the president telling them. "We have to go through a few processes, but under the radar."
The statement reinforces an article in the Huffington Post describing how the administration is exploring ways to bypass Congress and enact gun control through executive action.
The Department of Justice reportedly is holding meetings discussing the White House’s options for enacting regulations on its own or through adjoining agencies and departments. "Administration officials said talk of executive orders or agency action are among a host of options that President Barack Obama and his advisers are considering. "

I missed this last week, and so may many who didn’t notice Instapundit’s link to the Greeley Gazette’s post on the White House’s efforts to impose gun control through executive-branch regulatory adventurism. Jack Minor caught this anecdote buried below the jump on a Washington Post Lifestyle profile of Steve Croley, first published six weeks ago.

HOW, I ask, is this man to be stopped?

Already had a thread on this in Activism Discussion.

It is critically important to go back to the source material instead of just parroting something regurgitated from another source that's mixed up with who knows what.

I don't think that anyone ever thought that there weren't going to be attempts to use non-legislative means to advance the anti agenda, but those means are not as effective or far reaching as the straight legislative attacks that we all feared.

Still, it is important to understand that the appearance of peace doesn't mean that the culture and legal war with the anti movement wasn't still going on under the surface.
