Modification of Tikka T3 Magazine?

Does anyone know of a source or first hand knowledge of how to modify the magazine of the t3 .223 to accomodate larger OAL rounds? My magazine will only fit OAL of 2.28.

I would see if a 243/308 mag would fit in your receiver.

That should be self evident.

They're plastic, right?

Break out the dremel.

Thought about the dremel....

but, i dont think the plastic is thick enough to be able to dremel a significant depth off without breaking through the other side.
