Per the suggestion of our forum I purchased the book Percussion Pistols And Revolvers by Johnny Bates and Mike Cumpston. It is a really good book for anyone interested in percussion firearms.
One of the things I wanted out of the book was instructions on modifying the 1862 Colt Police to relieve the tendency of the gun to Capjam due to tight tolerances on these little pistols. Although I'm rather handy the photos and the description are rather vague. Could anyone help me out with more detail?
