Just for fun, this is what i saw this afternoon.

Niiiiiiice kitty.

Good looking knife!

Let us know how fast it chops through a 2X4 and how many coke cans full of water you can cut in half with a single horizontal swipe!

This is my Indian or Mountain Man style. I actually recycled the fringe part from a bowie sheath. Frankly I wish I had not but that's water under the bridge. People tend to use too-little fringe which makes it look like play-Indian toys. Fringe was usually just the excess from a oddly shaped piece of leather. Ideally you would use old, recycled leather that had some distress to it. In this case, I made the sheath from an old pair of those early 70s style "Apache" boots that you saw a lot of hippies and Woodstock attendees wearing...I was a kid and I wanted to be like an Apache not a hippie.

The concho and the turquoise bead are not so hot and I'd do this differently today.

Get those pics up Bikerdoc, any of those going to be biggies?

Should i do a sheath with tassels? I know its porno, but to be honest, im never realy going to carry it except when i hunt, there it'll kinda fit in with my .50cal BP or bow.

any of those going to be biggies?

Ya, one big one. Here it is loosely fitted, unsanded, and not polished

My favorite size knife is 3 to 4 in blades. Just took delivery of 6 billets, cant wait to get to them.

Hey there Bikerdoc. Looks like a good project. Dont turn this into a kitchen knife, do something nice for yourself.

Got internet at home, thanks to the wife, dial up though(goes with the primitive thing i gues:))...........like watching paint dry.

Finished my sheath today. Going to polish it up now and then start on the bandolier tomorrow. Ill get a pic soon.

Thanks guys, my other hobies are getting the better of me. Seriously into bp hunting now. Spending all my time now casting and making powder. As soon as the forge gets fired up, ill be back. Again, thanks for all the support in the past.

$1000 USD... that's a great sale! and someone got a great knife too!

Any updates on that sword you were making for your boss?
