Hi! Im not here for starting a debate to moly or not, just have some questions about it.
In all my rifle except one I shoot standard bullets but in my long range rifle I use moly coated bullets becouse I wanted to try it.

In another of my rifle I have a really badly made barrel (remington 700) but it shoots ok. You dont even need to see with a bore scope to see all the tool marks in the bore and on the rifling. Shooting standard bullets its fauling alot. I mean alot! Can moly be a solution to this and perhaps increase accuracy for a smooth surface or is it the opposite? maybe I dont want to pack moly into all tool marks and micro grooves in the barrel?

I'd suggest cleaning your problem barrel down to bare steel, using a good solvent cleaner like 7.62 or the like. Finish up with some JB bore paste, and then clean again to get the residue.
Next step is to coat the bore with moly: either one of the dry sprays, or a moly-based grease on a patch. The bullets alone will run out of moly in a bare rough bore, so you would still get fouling near the muzzle. If you use a tight fitting patch, run it back and forth until you get a shiny black surface. At that point, you can start using moly-coated bullets without experiencing fouling problems, since the bullet coatings will maintain the bore surface.
If, after all this, you still get copper fouling, that bore is just too rough. Either keep it as is if the accuracy is a acceptable, or consider lapping it.

If your barrel is really that rough I'd look into the Tubbs Final Finish Bore Lapping System. I've never used one myself but the people that I know that have swear by them, and a very well respected local rifle builder said that for a factory barrel that they really do help.

Yes, Norma here in Sweden have designed a catridge 6XC with Tubbs! I believe his system works but the problem is that its so expensive for me to get it here. The cost would almost be the cost for a new barrel.
