I got a C-223 recently, a big Mora knife made for butchering meat. It is quite thin (.075" I think) but tough and not over-hardened. It holds an excellent edge and while it won't be prying anything, should suffice for brush work and could maybe build a decent shelter.

It is killer though as a garden knife. Just the right length to slice open plastic pots to replant, and do stuff like that. It really holds an edge better than any carbon steel knife I've ever played with.

It came a bit burr-y from the factory but I microbeveled at 40 degrees (the factory angle is crazy low, like 18 degrees inclusive) inclusive and now the thing is just a smooth slicing and cutting and chopping machine. No corrosion either despite less than perfect maintenance (left dirt/moisture on it overnight).

This is big knife designed for butchering big game. It would also work nicely as a general camp knife for food preparation, building shelters, etc. You could consider it the Swedish version of the Leuku. The carbon steel blade is about 8 3/4" long, 1 1/2" wide, and .072" thick. The sides of the blade are left rough from the tempering process. The 5 1/2" hard plastic handle is molded directly on the tang and works well with both average and large hands. The handle is shaped and textured for a secure grip even when wet.
 
Looks like it could do LOTS of things really well... I have just never been a fan of the way that plastic handle feels...
