More than one J-frame?

Currently only five. Have owned many more. You can never have too many S&W J frames.

I have a 442 and a 649. Okay, the 649 was purchased by, and still is my father's, but if I have it I should be able to count it. Right?

yup

Presently, Smith and Wesson model 340SC .357 mag, Rossi mod 677 .357 mag.

Have owned in the past:

2 EAA Windicators - .38 spcl and .357 mag

Taurus mod 85 Ultralite .38 spcl

Taurus mod 605 .357 mag

Smith and Wesson mod 638 Bodyguard

(I guess it's fairly obvious that I'm a bonafide snubby fan.)

J-Frames?

By my count, two: M-37 and a M34. used to have another M37 but gave it to a son. Used to have a pre-M36 Chiefs Special, but it went with first wife in the divorce.

I thought J frames were S&W revolvers. If it just means small revolver, I could count my Colt Agent. If it just means a small handgun, should I count my smaller auto pistols? Let's see - - - PPK, P11, P32, uh - - -
Nope, just two J frames.
:D

A 34, 35, 63, 317, 36, 60, 640, 332, 342, 340, and 337. I believe that comes to 11. My lucky number.:D

Thank you, JFrame,
I like my 317. Its fun to shoot and carry because it is so light. Mine is the 3" barrell with the HiViz sights. The longest distance I have shot it is 50 feet and I got about 3" groups. The trigger may not be as good as the old M63, but because of its weight I enjoy carrying it in the field.

After realizing that I had the unlucky number of THIRTEEN J-frames, I ran out today and got a nice little 4" 631. So now I have FOURTEEN and one K-frame. Buy the way, with the exception of this new 631 and one of my 63's the other twelve are all STUBBIES ;)

Traded a model 60 Chief in 38 spec., for a model 649 in 357 mag.
Only difference I csn see is the 1/8" longer bbl. on the 649 and that "Infernal" lock that IMO, just looks like a defect in the metal.

Shoots great with reloads 5.5 231 pushing a 150 gr SWC. Mild recoil and good accuracy. Factory 125 JHPs are not as much fun to shoot, but I like the increased stopping power.

Still prefer my 45 acp.

Ultraman,
It must be nice to be able to run our and "find" a nice 631. I haven't seen one in years.
