Mosin 7.62x54r Reloading Recipe

Hey guys,

I'm looking for a reduced recoil recipe using 125 gn FMJ bullets. I have either Unique or Red Dot at my disposal right now. I've seen online that 14gn of Red Dot works well, has anyone tried that?

Are you after a plinker or something faster?

Faster than a plinker, something reliable out to 300 yds.

You could try 10.5 grains of Unique. That should get you about 1600 fps with the 125 grain bullet.

I'll try both the 13gn of red dot and 10.5 of unique and see which one has better results
