My only regret with buying Mosin Nagants, is that I can't afford a crate of em. Strong round, tough rifle, and they are beautiful rifles. Like I said, I would buy a crate of them if I could budget the cost.
That's awesome!
RE: fpgt72 I am going to have to get one of those shirts....that is too funny.

I don`t know who`s been lying to you...............so after seeing a crate of these rifles for a little over $100 at my local gun store, it sparked my curiosity... yes, they are cheap compared to AK or AR but are they worth messing with? to get a new caliber of ammo and from what I understand, they aren't even that accurate... is it worth getting one when you are used to better, modern rifles?
Even if you don't clean it for like 24 hours....I know I found out the hard way...rust was already forming on the barrel when I got home.If you don't ever clean it, sure.
Just make sure to clean the barrel after firing, and you'll have no issues with rust from the corrosive ammo. I personally like to pour water down the bore, immerse a brass bore brush in Hoppes, scrub it thoroughly, then clean and oil it with patches. The barrels on my Mosins are in the same shape today as when I cleaned all the cosmoline out of them when I bought them.
you forgot to mention:Just think about it, for $100 you get:
A spear,
A pole vault,
A tent pole,
A hammer,
A club,
And a rifle all in one!
