Mosin scope mount?

Who has had experiences with Mosin scope mounts (Scout setup or normal)? Which brand has worked for you? I'm looking to make a cheap pseudo-sniper out of an M38, and i really want a mount that I know will work.

Get the Darrell scout mount.

I have one for my Mosin M38 and my Swiss K31. I don't have a scope on my M38 right now, but when I took the Aimpoint CompML2 off my AR to test on the scout mount, it shot great.

I bought a scount mount from makarov.com for my 91/30. I also got the 4x32 ncstar scope. both seem to work well. Cheap is the main word.

The mount doesn't come loose and the entire setup hasn't left zero. Nice little cheap setup.

Wow, this could become expensive. What would you guys recommend for a synthetic stock? Also, has anyone tried the M44 clamp-on muzzle brake?
