Anyone know what type of handguns (Israeli) Mossad agents have used in the past and what they use nowadays?
Ive read "Vengenge" by George Jonas (for an international relations class) and have seen both "Munich" and "Sword of Giedion" and it has me wondering...

IIRC those were .22LR Berettas mostly, probably Mod 71 or such.
like that one:

I 'heard' Beretta .22 as well. For what it's worth. ;)

It's my guess, though, that those guys could get anything they wanted.

I would have to say, whatever they want/whatever they have avaible. I mean thease guys are like our CIA/supper covert military ops. I don't think they have a "general" issue pistol or rifle or anything like that. I would think alot would depend on where they were going or what they were doing.

Beretta, Model 71, .22 rimfire was used when Munich murderers were tracked down. I was fortunate enoug to get one several years ago. NEVER fails to feed and I've had thousands of cheap ammo through it.

Browning P-35 (Hi-Power), were and are possibly still are used. I got one of their surplus P-35s from Empirearms a few years ago. They have a special reflective strip on them, so if they are undercover and use the pistol, Israeli police and military know not to shoot them.

The standard issue for Israeli police is the Baby Eagle (call the Jericho 941), I believe that the army uses that or the Baretta 92 (I'm not sure they keep changing weapons). As for the Mossad, I would imagine that a covert ops group like that would use whatever is best for the job, they would also shy away from standerdized weapons. Nothing screams "hey and Israeli did this like a jericho or a pistol with government markings on it.;)
