Mossberg 500 Youth model > installing regular stock?

HI folks, I have a youth model 500 (20g) that my kids and lady use. I'd like to have a full-size stock for it (I need an extra adult shotgun for a sporting clays outing). Does anyone know if it's simple as buying something like this? http://www.gunbroker.com/item/627852462

I did realize that it came with a pair of "spacers" that will make the stock longer. I may try those first, but I can't tell if they would be the same length as an adult stock.

Yep as simple as that! This Maverick 88 started out as a PGO because that was the only version I could find at the time. Picked up the stock at a gun show and it was an unbelievably easy and quick installation.

Don't buy a stock for a 12 gauge and expect it to fit properly on a 20. They are different part numbers for a reason.

Okay I'm not an acronym person. What does PGO mean? I googled it and the Urban Dictionary popped up with a definition. Doubt it was what you meant.

What does PGO mean?

Pistol Grip Only. A long time ago I thought it referred to Pump Gun Only.

Yep, Pistol Grip Only. At the time I bought mine it was relatively easy to find and was priced about $30 less than a full synthetic stock model.

Well, I happened upon a deal for a pair of older 1100s, so I guess I don't need a fullsize 20 anymore Thanks for the advice folks.
