mossberg 500a problems

I recently purchased a mossberg 500a riot shotgun. It is in good shape but it wont eject the shells. the extractors are in good shape. It pulls the shells from the chamber just fine. They just will not throw out. I have to reach in and pull them out manually.
I cant figure it out. I am completely stumped. Ifanyone has some imput it would be a great help.
For now I will stick with the tried and true 870 wingmaster.

Sounds like it has to be a bent, broken, or missing ejector.
