I have studied them and read many articles on them, and they are really quite the innovative rifle. it was origionally made my I wanna say Renegade arms(or someithing like that) up in Conn. I say one of these in 30.06 recently. the company was basically bought up by Mossy, because they watned their machinery, and design specs for this rifle. this was back in the 90's. Mossy suceeded , and then did a few upgrades to it. It is very closely built upon the howa rifle, so that is nice, it has built in swivel studs on the stock, another plus, it also has a fully free floated bbl, with a kind of built in pillar bed job on the stock. two very good plusses. it has a step down muzzle crown, short bolt throw, and nice lock up features, with the lugs, in the receiver, and also has nice raceways.
they also have a very nice recoil pad, and if you get the kids model, you can build up your recoil pad, long, and thick , and spongey huge, because you can buy the recoil extensions with inserts.. Accuracy with these rifles , that I have read about , and shot myself, all seem to be easily capable of 2 moa, as with just a fair scope, and using bags for rests, so chances are the rifle will shoot better than your capabilities. I myself would not hesitate, the next time I a feeling froggy about a new 30.06, to pick up one.
