Mossberg Receivers?

Suppose I call Mossberg Monday and ask if they ever made a steel 590 receiver for any reason? Would that settle the argument? I doubt it, because that would mean that someone is wrong and that wouldn't be PC.

Nope guys dont have a pic of a magnet, also really don't care. I don't like mossy's anyway, I just thought I would jump in and give my personal experiance with a steel reciever on a 590. Have funand when i doubt just get a 870

Gah, there are no steel receivers on a model 590. The controversey was over the trigger-guard being METAL not Steel and not the receiver. Of course, there are many that don't bother to pay attention to the facts and merely buy guns on hype. My Ithaca 87 is different from my model 37 because Ithaca LLC added a GPS tracker in the stock. I know it's there becasue a magnet did NOT stick to the stock. That and the Transmogrifier in the fore-end make the 87 more desireable than the 37.

Actually I'm not a troll (whatever that is) and I'm a veteran THANK YOU

VERY MUCH. I've already been there and done that. The town of Safwan

is very trashy and camp Oasis sucked too. If any of you were there you

could guess where I was. I'm very much military. It doesn't matter if no

one believes what I say. But if I could show you......wait a damn

minute.....where's my Digital camera......That's it. Let me get some good

pictures for you.....and I won't do anything to them....because I don't know

how. Once I get them up you can stuff a sock in it. But you probably think

you are still right anyway. Give me some Time to get those pics.
