Wow! Thanks for the input. Here's the tally so far by my count:

Savage (esp. Model 12 BVSS and Model 10 FP) -- 8 votes
CZ527 -- 5 votes
Tikka T3 Varmint -- 3 votes

others:
Howa M1500 Varminter
Ruger 77T
Remington 700 (customized with new barrel and trigger)
Remington LTR
Remington 700 VLS
Sako
AR-15

I've got to say I am a fan of Ruger and Remington rifles, so the 77T and 700 LTR still appeal most to me. I also love my Bushmaster XM-15, and would consider adding a match flattop upper and a drop-in match trigger.

But those groups with the CZ -- :D

AFAIK the similar Howa and Weatherby actions are extremely similar to Remington actions. I do know that they use the same scope bases.

Don't forget the Weatherby version of the Howa: if you like the stock, it's a top-quality piece of fiberglass. I like the things, myself. Also, if it doesn't shoot better than MOA, you can send it back.

I owned a tikka master sporter, with handloads it shot a 1/4 MOA 5 shot group. I'd imagine the t3 tactical would be about as accurate.
