Got this month's Dillon "Blue Press" catalog, in it was a review article on the HK P30 9mm pistol. "Tested" nine brands of ammo with 5-shot groups at 50'
Best accuracy was (.... drum roll ....) 115gr Wolf steel cased ammo at 1.2"
Next was Black Hills 124gr JHP and Hornady 147gr TAP at 1.5"
Believe it or don't. All it proves is 5 shot groups lack statistical significance and 50' is not far enough to show much difference among ammo.
I mostly shoot steel plates at 10-12 yds and there is no difference worth worrying about for any ammo in any of my pistols at this short difference. If I'm not shooting reloads I'm shooting Wolf or other steel case or Blazer aluminum.
