Most Fun Gun to shoot?

I'm disregarding NFA and class 3, et al, because I can't just walk into my local shop and walk out with one 15 minutes later.

I would disregard it as I have no desire to spend $15K plus on a M16, and a Mac10 is a $300.00 dollar gun that for some reason becomes worth $3,000.00 when you add a extra saftey position. Plus blowing $20.00 worth of ammo downrange in 20 seconds is fun till you do the math at the end of the day. My pockets are far to shallow for NFA goodies. My fun gun would be a Ruger 10/22. I have a AR, AK, pistols, shotguns but that Little 10/22 gets shot the most, and always puts a grin on my face. I got a cheap red dot on it, stick in a 30 round mag and have some fun. You can rip off 30 rounds as fast as you can pull the trigger all day, and never feel the dent in your wallet (or shoulder).

My 12 gauge black powder shotgun loaded with a .75 lead ball and at least 100 grs. of black powder. Sort of my way to say hello at the range :)

Camp-45 and 1911

Its a fun gun, and since they use the same mags, makes for a good range trip with minimum equipment.

Ruger Mini-14 and Springfield 1911... No wait!! Colt AR and Ruger MKII or maybe M1 carbine and GP-100... No... AW heck, they're all fun to shoot.

although i love all my guns, probably my Winchester Model 69A .22 with a Savage 4x scope, drill nails all day long. its extremely accurate, quiet, doesn't bruise up the shoulder and is extremely cheap to shoot.

Single Six, at my buddy's ranch. The best accessory right now is another friend's 9 year old son.

Hell, with that little guy around, I don't even have to shoot the Six to enjoy it!

Buckmark with red dot. There is nothing funner than this setup when the grass is still short and the pot guts are hungry.

Spray and pray nonsense? Rapid fire is fun as long as you adhere to rules 1 thru 4. I guess I have no problem being silly every now and then.

GI45 +1. Try one at night sometime, outdoors, no ear protection - just you, 130-odd decibels, and a beautiful muzzle flash. A hand from beyond seems to lift the gun after you pull the trigger... quite an experience.

My MOST fun gun to shoot is my Mosin Nagant 91/30. It is long, heavy, kicks like a mule, has a terrible trigger, and the front sight is too far away for my eye to see well, BUT when I shoot a nice group with it I know I've really accomlished something. I also love the fact that my gun may have been held by a Russian soldier who used that same gun with a Nazi in his sights. I just get a vibe from the gun when I shoot it. It is a warriors weapon. Its a good feeling.

Gonna agree with Dr. Rob, a full auto BAR is a great time. Not too bad of recoil either IMO.

My keltec sub2000. Put in a glock 33 mag and rip off 30 rounds of 9mm as fast as you can puill the trigger is very satisfying.

I like shooting all of my collection, but there is something about a plain jane 1911 and a few boxes of hardball. It's just a better time.

Virtually any .22 is a blast, but I shot a friend's Henry Golden Boy levergun recently and it was too cool. I dunno, there's just something about a .22 levergun that's way too much fun. I've also got an 870 special field that for some reason just fits and points about perfectly. That straight-grip stock handles really really well. I shoot it better than any scattergun I've ever held.

Most fun gun I've ever shot was a full-auto M16 lower with a 16" barrel upper. I could do it all day long. I just couldn't afford to do it all day long. :(

I think Mosins are pretty fun to shoot. Otherwise .22 semi rifles are very fun to shoot for me. I also like .22 pistols. Something about more affordable shooting makes it more fun on my budget.

Plinking old cans with my daughter using a well used Ruger MKII just kind of gives me the grin. :D
