Most inaccurate ammo you've ever come across?

I bought some Wolf in .40 S&W to run through my brand new Glock G35 match pistol a few years ago. Strictly to test functioning. I let my son-in-law try it first and had to suppress a chuckle when he could barely get 15 rounds on a pie plate at 10 yards.

Then I tried and got maybe a 5" group. Thought the pistol was defective.

Shot some "normal" ammo through it later and was relieved that it was much more accurate than I thought.

Not sure if it was the gun or the ammo, but I watched my dad and brother both consistently miss (as in didn't hit it once) an 8" steel target at 10 yards today with a S&W Bodyguard .380.
Factory Federal 95gr FMJ and handloads with 95gr Sierra V-crowns/CFE Pistol.
Not sure where exactly all the rounds hit, but one for sure dug up the sod about 2' in front of the hanger. If I hadn't just watched my brother stack 7 rounds of .45 and 10 rounds of 38 Super on the 4" without a miss, I woulda said it was them.

Old Winchester Wildcats, bought in 1978 for $.59 per box. I bought about ten bricks. No 22 I had would do better than an inch and a quarter at 25 yards!!! Traded it off.
I too remember Winchester Wildcat 22 ammo...and no not fondly. Me and a couple of friends thought we made the purchase of the decade when we each bought a case of 5000 for $75.00. Think it was mid 1970's. Anyway nothing would feed it reliably. Ended up burning it up in a S&W K-22. That took a while and soured me on Winchester for a long time after. CCI has always been my go to ammo when I could get it.
