Browning BuckMark

I've owned a Ruger MK-II (KMK-512) that had too have the breech
cleaned every 100 rounds or so; OTOH, I now own a Browning Buck-
Mark that I believe would shoot even if were caked with mud~! Of
course, I NEVER let any of my weapons get a speck of dust on 'em
muchless mud~! ;) :uhoh:

my 3 ruger never balk except maybe on the thunderbolts. feed them anything else and they will go and go and go. I think they run better dirty.
in my experience buckmarks like to be very clean and start having problems the dirtier they get. can't really comment on anything else.

You guys are nuts. You know what removes wax? Heat. YOu know how you heat your barrel? shoot it.

I've got a glenfield model 60 that is at least 40 years old and has had thousands of wax coated bullets. It's probably been cleaned less than 10 times. Still works great.

The only thing that really runs reliably on 22s is a revolver. Some people talk up various premium ammo but that starts costing more. Rimfre rounds have never been real well suited for autos which is why the 25 was designed.
Has anybody ever thought of a target model 25? Cast lead bullets in that size would be very cheap and the cases could prpbably be reloaded a million times. Could be very reliable. FWIW
