most reliable .22 semiauto with target loads?

I have 5 10/22's. All function fine with sub-sonic loads, greentag, tenex, rws, remington, and federal target. I have about 3 FTF?FTE out of every 2000rds of ammo. IMHO, I think that's the ammo.

That's pretty good. Did you modify them with the better extractors etc.?

I've been looking for a 10/22 for weeks. Everyone out here is sold out and Academy never seems to get any in in their shipments (perhaps Ruger is concentrating on pumping out something else right now like Mini-14's or LCP's).

I did see a few at the local gun show but they only had the cheapest one with the synthetic stock and some of the purple laminate ones, neither of which appealed to me.

I'll probably end up just ordering on gun broker eventually but end up paying almost as much for shipping and transfer fees as for the rifle.

I haven't had problems shooting greentag or federal target out of my Remmington 597. I do seem to get some FTF's out of the Federal Target loads, but I get the same problem with my other .22's so it's not a "gun problem".
