mounting cmore sights on a 1911

I have a Colt Gold Cup series 80 45ACP that I am trying to make into a Bullseye gun. I want to install optics and have questions about what mount to get. Other threads recommended the C-MORE optics so I suppose that is what I would get. Question is to mount directly to the slide or to the frame (IMHO ugly). I assume that I will have to take it to a smith for machining in either case. So what does the list recommend, which sight, which mount, what gunsmith, pros and cons of slide vs frame mount.

The C-More will not work very well for bullseye. It does not have the fine click adjustments to go from the 25 to the 50 yard line.

Ultra Dot sights mounted to the slide are the sight of choice for NRA bullseye.
