Moving to Orange County New York

No place is perfect..each has its own faults. I would greatly appreciate my felllow members not slamming and not lumping NEW YORK with New York City

Well said Whitewolf. That right there is why, when people ask me where I am from, I say Upstate New York. Then I get a queer look from them and I have to explain that there is another part of New York which is actually quite a bit more "neck" then most southern places

Just had to add my .02......Like some have said, AK's and AR's are NOT illegal in NYS. I can walk into Gander Mountain and buy one of many AR's there, and I own an AK. Yeah, it has to be non-"evil", which as far as the AR's at Gander go, the only thing I think they are missing is a flash-hider. For my AK, I can legally own a 100 round drum if I feel the need, as long as it's pre-ban.
