I had planned to purchase one of these on employee purchase, but when the election got close the exact one I wanted came through the shop used, so I scooped it up.

I haven't done much, but I've gotten it to where I wanted it. It's a S&W M&P15t with the Troy industries quad rail and BUIS.
I added the PRI gas busters charging handle, the Larue/Magpul urban dark earth furniture, a Streamlight TLR-1 with remote, Larue sling with MI front mount, and the piece I just got today: my Aimpoint ML3 on a Larue mount.

nice looking gun. how do you like to tlr-1? i have been considering one.

jimminy christmas! why would you do that to your first AR? now you will have to spend a fortune to try and 'up' that when you buy your second and third and fourth....

and i will up jackdansons bid by offering $550

Excellent looking setup you have there! I bought the M&P15 back in September, and it is the best gun purchase I have made since my Glock 19.

Good job!

Keep an eye on the PRI charging handle. There have been a LOT of reports of the roll pin breaking in them. Supposedly PRI is aware of the problem and looking at a fix.

You *may* also find that if you run your light on the other side, and use a "thumbs high" grip on your left hand (assuming you're right handed) you can do away with the tape switch on the ligh. Just something to try, and it eliminates another potential failure point.

Now get out there and shoot it like it's meant to be shot.! :D

Outfreakingstanding, a fine rifle indeed.

May I ask what you spent on the upgrades? Not the rifle itself, just the accessories. It looks balanced very well. I've put a lot into accessorizing a couple, just curious if you are willing to answer.

I see the pmags with the ranger plates... Have you shot it yet? Do they work pretty good? Was thinking about stocking up on a few myself.

Once more, a fine looking weapon. Job well done!

sounds to me that he did a thorough job of figureing out EXACTLY what he wanted the first time through. since he got exactly what he wants, there may be no need for 2, 3, 4 of them. how many can you shoot at one time? i would be suprised if the answer was more than two. and then it really boils down to how many can you really shoot ACCURATELY at one time?

Very nice looking, Ive always wanted a M&P15 but thanks to Mr Obama I dont think ill get one until the market is flooded with people selling theirs to pay for their "rich people tax." Very good looking AR though.

I got the TLR-1 over the x300, mainly because I already had it, so it was a freebee. I tried running the light on the left side, but it ends up in my field of view, so I like mounting it on the other side. If I had the new TLR-1 with the C4 LED it would be 135 lumens, but alas, it's only 60.

All the furniture is Magpul made and distributed through Larue as a special run of that color.

Although I have to say I like the remote switches for Surefire way more. I may still replace the light setup in the future.

Thanks for all the replies guys.
